Participation in the VI Uniservitate Global Symposium: an inspiring human-centred gathering

On behalf of CIREAD-IFCU, I was delighted to take part in the VI Uniservitate Global Symposium held at the Catholic University of Eichstätt–Ingolstadt (Germany) on 6-7 November 2025.

This year’s symposium brought together universities’ authorities, educators, researchers and students from across the globe to reflect on the theme “Service-Learning in a Fragile World: Universities Nourishing Peace and Hope”. The sessions were marked by inspiring exchanges, deep human connections and a shared commitment to strengthening the Uniservitate community.

As a member of the Uniservitate Board, I had the honour of contributing to one of the symposium’s panels, where I presented the ongoing research project “Building Networks and Producing Knowledge: The Case of Uniservitate, from a South–North Network of Service-Learning to a Global Community” that I am conducting in collaboration with Prof. López from the University of Monterrey in Mexico.

I would like to warmly thank the Clayss team for such a rewarding invitation as well as the organizing team at the Catholic University of Eichstätt–Ingolstadt for their hospitality.
