Release of the NHNAI White Paper on Humanism at the Service of AI Ethics and Governance
We are pleased to share the publication of the NHNAI White Paper: Societal exploration of humanism at the service of AI ethics and governance — a key output of the NHNAI project on « New Humanism in the time of Neurosciences and Artificial Intelligence ». This flagship document is now available for consultation and open for comments with a view to preparing a second updated version.
In this White Paper, NHNAI partners offer key recommendations on how to organize collective reflection to strengthen democratic governance of AI, on what it means to be human in an era marked by powerful technological change, and on essential topics to be collectively explored.
The NHNAI project, coordinated by the Lyon Catholic University (UCLy) under the aegis of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), brings together a global network of academic partners and societal communities. Its mission is to foster ethical capacity-building through collective reflection on humanism in the context of rapid advances in AI and neurosciences.
Don’t hesitate to read the white paper and join the conversation !
